The Certified Nursing Assistant program is a first step into healthcare: 120 hours of classroom instruction and supervised clinical experience in resident care, safety, and basic nursing skills.
The program prepares you for the Illinois nurse aide competency examination. CNAs work in long-term care, hospitals, and home health — and for many students, the CNA is the first rung toward LPN or RN practice.
Healthcare roles involve additional requirements such as background checks and health screenings — Admissions will walk you through them before enrollment.
Completion of a program does not guarantee employment or licensure. Placement is not guaranteed. State examination, application, and licensing fees are paid by the student. Tuition and enrollment requirements are provided by Admissions.
